Obituary of Gail Ann Moore

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gail Ann Moore on June 20, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on October 30, 1944, Gail was the daughter of the late Ansel Moore and Annie (O’Leary) Moore.

Prior to her retirement, Gail worked as a teacher, a social worker, and a provincial public servant. As a happy and very busy retiree, she loved reading, doing her puzzles, and playing bridge.

Gail will be deeply missed by her children, Ashley Rickard and Hilary Rickard, and her large network of friends and family. Gail faced many challenges over the last few years as her health declined. Ashley and Hilary would like to thank the many people close to Gail, family, and honorary family, who provided endless support and love. She was incredibly lucky to have you all.

A funeral, followed by a celebration of Gail’s life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at McAdam’s Funeral Home at 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB.
