Dear Francie- I only heard yesterday of your Dad’s passing.
I am so very sorry for this huge loss. John was such a kind and gentle man. I loved when he came into the shop. Something about that smile of his and the twinkle in his eye! We’d always have a little chitchat. I know how much he adored you and your son.
You are in my thoughts and heart during this really difficult time. Take good care of yourself. Lean on your friends.
With love and support always, Sue Madigan

I met John in elementary school, in what was then the city of Lancaster, now Saint John West. As it happened, we both ended up living in Fredericton. From time to time, we’d run into each other and we always stopped to chat.
I am very sad to hear of his death.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of John. Although my time working with him was brief, the impact he made on me was profound. I wanted to take a moment to share my memories of John and offer my sincerest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.
One thing that stood out to me about John was his remarkable talent for wood working. His creations were nothing short of breathtaking, each piece a true work of art. It was evident that his gift came from a place of passion and dedication. Whenever I saw his craftsmanship, I couldn't help but be in awe of his skill and creativity.
However, John's talent was not the only thing that left a lasting impression on me. It was his kindness and gentleness that truly set him apart. He had a way of making everyone around him feel seen and valued. His warm smile and genuine interest in others made it easy to connect with him on a personal level. It was a privilege to have known him and to have been touched by his genuine and caring nature.
Losing someone like John is an immense loss, and my heart goes out to you and your family. I can only imagine the void his absence has left in your lives. During this time of sorrow, I hope you find solace in the memories you shared with him and the love and support of those around you.
Please accept my deepest condolences. May John's memory be a source of comfort and strength for you in the days ahead.
With heartfelt sympathy.

Sorry to hear of John's passing. I have known John for as long as I can remember having grown up in the west side neighborhood of Manawagonish Road, Quinton Heights. Although I have seen John less frequently as the years passed, he was always the same great guy each time we did run into one another. He was certainly a unique individual. A Renaissance Man.

While I ran into John as an adult from time to time my most vivid memories of him are when we were kids growing up in the Quinton Heights area of Saint John in the 1960’s. He lived a few houses away and to me (and my brothers), he was the talented big brother to Bob, Dave and Steve. Tim and Jeff were quite a bit younger. My memories of John are that he was sincerely interested in life and all that it had to offer. While I perceived John to be much more worldly and tougher than the rest of us back then, he treated us with such kindness. Sincere condolences to Johns daughter Francis and the entire Morgan family from my wife Barb and me. Bob Creamer.

Very saddened to hear that John died. It came as a shock to us. We have not seen him for a couple of years but have been in touch through social media. Had so hoped to see him at my mother’s 100th birthday celebration, and he had indicated that he planned to attend, but sadly that was the day that he went into hospital. We will always cherish our memories of times spent together with John. He was a kind and gentle spirit and he will be missed. Our thoughts are with the family.

It was always such a joy to see John. His enthusiasm for whatever challenge he’d taken on was contagious, and always left me feeling energized. Years ago, we both acted and sang in a truly bizarre production of Man of La Mancha where he was the most handsome thug ever to attack Dulcinea, despite dirt and rags. We had to dash outside the building in the cold to go from stage right to left, and he’d laugh and say, “Isn’t this fun?” At Saint John High School, Robert Edwards used to exhort our choir to sing with vim, vigour, verve and vitality. Those are qualities I’ll always associate with John. My sincere condolences to his family and friends for losing him far too soon.
