When I think of Dave and Barb, I think of all the things they have accomplished together. There is so much to admire and appreciate. Barb would imagine a thing; Dave would nod and make it happen. Their many homes through the years could easily grace the pages of Better Homes & Gardens or Architectural Digest. Their standard has always been perfection, and they have never settled for less, in their home life or in their professional lives. Never boastful, but rightly proud of his work and family. A good man. I wish we had had more time together but, am most grateful for the time we have had in his light. Wishing his lovely family well. Hope to meet again someday.

Barb, sending you my deepest condolences. I just realized I went to school with David. I lived in Devon as well and remember him both in elementary and junior high. We even graduated from FHS the same year. Such a small world. Wishing you and your family peace and comfort as you adjust to a life without your beloved.

The best thing about moving to Fredericton in 1985 was meeting the many wonderful people who lived there. Dave and Barb are two excellent examples of people who I met through work, who were so kind and welcoming to this new person in town. Thank you for you being yourselves, great, honest Maritimers!!!

So very sorry to hear this news. Dave was a good buddy in Devon during junior high. And one summer I regularly hitched a ride with him to work at Gagetown. Dave was smart, funny and a hard worker. Living on the west coast I lost touch over the years. But I’m very glad (and not at all surprised) that he had a good life and loving family. Condolences to his loved ones. Rest in peace, old friend.

Dear Barb, it is with deep sadness that we learned of Dave's passing and both our hearts go out to you and your family and we send you all our support in this difficult time. Dave was more than a colleague, to us, he was a friend who will be greatly missed. Dave was an admirable colleague who leaves behind a legacy of professionalism and sound advice with great integrity. With the numerous business trip, we did with him and the numerous projects we managed together, we will keep of him the everlasting memory of an excellent collaborator who loved his job, who was a great team player and the fun we had working with him. Dave was also a friend to us and we will keep the memory of a sensitive and considerate man with great kindness, a very attentive listener who loved to discuss cooking, good food and travel and who loved his little escapades to the casino with John (another colleague) in Las Vegas. More than anything, Dave was a man of honor who loved his family and his work and whom we greatly admired. Both our hearts go out to you Barb and to your family during this difficult time and our thoughts are with you all at this moment. My remembrance of David growing up in Devon and attending school with him is that of a quiet and dignified human being who was simply a nice person. To hear of his success in the commerce industry and his love of that line of work is comforting also knowing he was surrounded by a loving family. His passing is a reminder that we need to live our lives to the fullest and remain true to one self.
