Debbie, Robert, Lori & Diane - I am so sorry to read about your mom's passing. She was such a dear friend, and wonderful person. When I talked with her about a year ago, she still had that lilt in her voice, and she was her gracious self, trying to remember who I was. Our visit with her a few years ago on our trip through Fredericton, was wonderful. I have tried to find you guys, to talk about her, but wasn't able to connect. I loved her very much. So sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathies are extended to Elsbeth's family. It was so nice to find out, not long after starting to attend Church at Wilmot United that someone else in the congregation had ties to my hometown. Not only did Elsbeth grow up in Belleisle, but she went to school with my late grandmother. Elsbeth was a very kind lady, always wanting to help others. I so appreciated Elsbeth's willingness to give me rides to and from Church for my later years at UNB. I often thought of Elsbeth as my Fredericton grandmother.

I loved your mama. I've known her since her days at the laboratory. We became closer as part of the prayer shawl group at Wilmot. No one will ever know how far her influence was felt with her unending production of tiny knitted squares that sent the message "you are never alone". God bless her dear sweet heart. Deepest sympathy to you and all your family. You learned how to live from an expert.
