Obituary of M. Elsbeth Gibson

With very heavy hearts, but also with gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing on Thursday, November 25 of our dear mother, Elsbeth Gibson (Menzies). She passed away peacefully at Neill Hall in Fredericton, NB. Elsbeth was predeceased by parents, Duncan and Florence Menzies, husband, Andrew W. Gibson and brother, Ronald Menzies. She will be lovingly remembered by children, Debbie Thorne (Neil), Lori Huggard (Terry), Robert Gibson and Diane Reid (Gavin). Also survived by sister, Jean Miller, nephew, Gordon Miller and niece, Barb Nicoll, grandchildren, Dustin, Erica, Nathaniel and Luke as well as great grandchildren, Sarah, Aidan, Bowden and Paisley. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Sunday, November 28 from 2 - 5 pm. The funeral service will take place at Wilmot United Church on Monday, November 29 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Ellen Beairsto will officiate. For those unable to attend, a livestream will be available at https://www.youtube.com/wilmotunitedchurch. Due to current provincial regulations, proof of vaccination and government issue identification will be required for entry to the visitation and service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, Wilmot United Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
