What a lovely man your father was! It seems as if I've been seeing him at the N.B. Highland Games and at The Gathering of the Scots forever. They were fine people and you boys were so fortunate to have them as parents. Give thanks that you had your dad as long as you did. My condolences to you all.

Very sorry to learn of Paul's passing. 'Getting to know him late in his and my life I found him to have a great sense of humour, someone who could carry on a conversation LONGER, no doubt than he may have wanted to given the fact that I sometimes ranted on. I know he was a fine husband, dad, grand father, brother, uncle and friend to many. R.I.P. Mr. Horncastle Our Sincere Sympathy God Bless All Andy and Jean Martell

JOHN W YERXA posted a condolence
So sorry to hear about Paul, what a great guy he was. I first met Paul in the late 60s or early 70s while motorcycling.he introduced myself and friend Richard Willis to Laconia Motorcycle weekend in New hampshire 450 mile ride. he convinced Richard and I to go with him and Ann and their friends Walter and Bertha Clark in 1974. They had BMWs, Richard a Norton and me a Triumph hardtail chopper. Of course we had to take the scenic route along the coast. They had saddle bags and we had strapped on army surplus military knapsack bags with garbage bags for rain suits, and of couse it rained, we got soaked and they seemed dry as bones. i remember fondly paul's kind smile and laugh and Walter smoking his pipe. Paul arranged a cabin for us beside theirs, what a great experience. paul was a very kind life loving man and I stayed in touch many years after, My sincere condolences to the family. And wow, he was still riding at 91...a legend!
