My heart goes out to all of Stella's family, thinking of all at this difficult time. I meet Stella 5 yrs ago in a dining room sitting with her special friends. We have had quite a few conversations about the people of Harvey Station and the wagon wheel in Newmarket where she use to go to the dances. She loved her sliced cucumber sandwiches with no crust. She held a special place in my heart and will never be forgotten. Prayers for all on the days moving forward. Supervisor Governor Hall Dining Room Susan and Teammates

So very sorry to learn of your mom's passing. I will always remember Stella, especially around this time of year - picking fiddleheads and all the laughter we shared doing so. Rest in peace my friend.

I was very sorry to hear of Stella's passing on Friday. I ran into her at the Superstore a few weeks ago, and she was really moving quickly buying shrimp for others and things for herself. She said she had to move because the Van was waiting for her. She also had to keep pulling up her mask as it kept falling off her face. She and Mom were friends since they went to school in Nashwaaksis, and now they are back together at the Douglas Rural. Please accept my condolences.

Dave. Sorry to learn Stella has departed. I have such fond memories of "hanging out" at your place with brother Rick, Jim Gorham and a bunch of other fellow unruly UNB students. We taxed her patience But She was always tolerant and fun ! RIP wonderful Stella. (I still miss laughing with Rick!!)

I express my condolences with a heavy heart to the Sansom Family. I had the pleasure of meeting your mom and grandmother when I volunteered at the Shannex. She attended our Tuesday morning socials always arrived looking like she had just stepped out of a fashion magazine. It didn't take long for me to realize Stella, Called a spade a spade, I loved her attitude and her sense of humour she always gave me a smile for the day. Your Family was truly blessed. Before Covid, I always baked something to bring for the group. She would usually come down to check out what I had baked each Tuesday. Stella was a fan of what I called my "Christmas Fruitcake". Knowing this, I always Discreetly wrapped extra for her. I have many memories, one I'll always remember is during one of our "summer" gatherings she suggested I could bake a fruitcake. I responded by saying that was a Christmas baking, I stand corrected very quickly by Stella "it isn't just Christmas baking, it can be baked any time of the year you can find the ingredients" she had such quick wit. Thanks to her I now understand and will never forget there's no such thing as "Christmas Fruitcake". Needless to say, I always looked forward and tried to sit beside Stella. I was looking forward to socializing once again this summer with my cherished friends at the Shannex when we could safely get together outdoors. My Shannex visits won't be the same without your mom and grandmother. I will miss our conversations, her quick wit, and most definitely her opinions. Stella was one good person who touched my heart. Please know i will be thinking of you, the Sansom family. Peace be with you all at this difficult time, Debbie Lynch
